I just want to make it clear that not all of this is my work and some of it was not even modified. If you are one of the creators of any of the contents of this file and would like for me to take it down please let me know.
Also, we've got a competition coming soon down the line (within a month or two) that'll win you some cold-hard cash if you can manage to design one of the top 3 summerboard themes within the next couple of months - so I hope to see some phenomenal work from you down the line, winning you one of the prizes to come!
Until then, take care and best regards. - Jody Mitoma

Wow, this is just outstanding. I'm using it on my iPod as we speak. I sat down to make my own theme one day, but it sure is tedious work. Do you start off with templates of some kind for the icons, or is that pure creativity?
most of these icons are not my original work and I take no credit for them, though some were modified by me. The only ones that are 100% mine are the badge and the photos icon. I basically just took the icons that I liked best from other themes and made them work with each other. I am working on an original theme now though. To answer your question though, when I make iPhone icons I have a mask and a few different types of gloss That insures that there is some consistency to them. There rest is really up to you.
Ah, good to know! Are you familiar with Louie Mantia's Sticker theme? Beautiful theme. I'd love to create something similar to his in cartoon style, but everytime I do it comes out looking the same haha.
A brand new monthly article which showcases some of deviantART's finest equine artists, as well as recognizing the lesser-known but equally talented ones. Interviews, helpful tutorials and features can all be found here too! I hope you enjoy it.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
We're going to delve into the awesome world of Prints on dA - all these lovelies have been made using Stock that can be found in the dun dun dun Stock Gallery. So have a look and if you like them you could have them hanging in your own house!
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
